Follow check
Send the link only to people who follow you.
The follow check sends your content only to people who follow you. It turns a freebie into a reason to follow, which is why it's on by default in every new DM funnel.
How it works
When someone reaches the delivery step, Codm asks Instagram whether they follow your account.
- They follow you: they get your content.
- They don't: they get a friendly nudge instead, with a button to try again (for example "I'm following"). Tapping it checks again.
Where to find it
- DM funnels: step 5, Only deliver to followers. Edit the nudge message and the re-check button there.
- Workflows: the Follows you? step, which has a yes branch and a no branch.
In the funnel's message you can write {username} and Codm puts in your account's handle, for example "Follow @{username} and tap below".
When Instagram can't confirm
If Instagram doesn't confirm the follow, because the profile is hidden or the check fails for any reason, Codm treats the person as not following and holds the content. This is deliberate: it means a non-follower can never receive the link by accident.
Note
Someone who has just followed you may need a moment before Instagram reports it. The re-check button lets them try again.
Preview both paths
The DM preview next to the funnel has a Follower / Not following switch, so you can read exactly what each person will get before you save.
