Automate a post
Pick a reel or post, choose how it answers, and switch it on.
An automation is one reel or post that Codm watches, plus the way it answers. Each post answers in exactly one way at a time.
Find the post
Open Content. Every reel and post on the selected Instagram account is listed, newest first.
- Filter with the chips: All, Reels, Posts, Automated, Favourites.
- Search by caption, or paste a post's link to jump straight to it.
- Sort by newest, oldest, most comments or most likes.
- Star a post to keep it in Favourites.
Press Automate on a post. Codm creates the automation and opens its page, where you choose how it answers and press Save. Posts that are already automated show Manage instead.
Note
Instagram returns your most recent posts. If you paste the link of an older post and it isn't listed, Codm offers Automate this URL so you can still set it up.
Choose how it answers
The post's page has three cards, top to bottom: the post, Handle public comments (the three choices), and the settings for the choice you picked.

The choice that is answering right now carries an Answering now badge. Picking another one doesn't change anything until you press Save; a note next to the button tells you the post will switch over.
Your settings for the other two choices are kept, so you can switch back without retyping anything.
Preview before you save
The column on the right shows what a follower will see: the public reply, the DM conversation step by step (including what a non-follower sees), or the workflow's walkthrough.
Turn a post off
Use the switch at the top of the post's page. Replies stop immediately; everything you set up stays, ready for the next time you switch it on.
How many posts can answer at once?
Free accounts can have 20 posts answering at the same time, Pro accounts 100. Turning a post off frees a slot. See Plans and limits.
Delete an automation
At the bottom of the post's page. This removes Codm's settings for the post; it never touches the post on Instagram.
